Alkyl-Dihydroxyacetonephosphate Synthase
Cell Biochemistry and Biophysics, 1997The initial steps of ether phospholipid biosynthesis take place in peroxisomes. Alkyl-dihydroxyacetonephosphate synthase, the peroxisomal enzyme that actually introduces the ether linkage, has been purified from guinea pig liver in this laboratory.

Ionic liquids: Green catalysts for alkene-isoalkane alkylation
Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2019Alkylation of isoalkane and alkene owns a note-worthy position among octane improving chemical conversions. Widely adopted catalysts (H2SO4 and HF) for alkylation at industrial level suffer severe drawbacks associated with environmental concerns ...

Enolate alkylations with alkyl halides
1997This chapter addresses enolate alkylations with alkyl halides. Simple enolates react irreversibly with soft (polarized) electrophiles such as methyl iodide. A new carbon–carbon bond is formed in an SN2, which is of considerable synthetic importance.
