Atmospheric Timing Transfer Using a Femtosecond Frequency Comb
We have experimentally demonstrated atmospheric transfer of microwave timing references using a femtosecond frequency comb. The excess timing jitter induced by the atmospheric propagation has been characterized, and evidence is provided to show that such

Objective The first‐pass effect (FPE), defined as excellent reperfusion after a single attempt, is associated with improved outcomes in large vessel occlusion stroke. We evaluated whether intravenous tenecteplase (TNK) compared with alteplase (TPA) increases the likelihood of FPE in basilar artery occlusion (BAO).

Stabilized
We have designed and fabricated a Kerr frequency comb oscillator with 27.5 GHz repetition rate by pumping a whispering gallery mode crystalline resonator with a laser at 1560 nm center wavelength. The oscillator is stabilized to the Rb$^{87}

Abstract The International Celestial Reference Frame (ICRF) plays an important role in astronomy and geodesy. The realization of ICRF is based on the position of thousands of quasars observed using the Very-Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) technique. Better quality of ICRF is achieved when the position of the quasars is stable.

Baseline Characteristics of Pristine Agricultural Pods Biochar
ABSTRACT The valorization of agricultural pod wastes into biochar offers a sustainable pathway for waste management and the development of functional carbonaceous materials. This study comparatively evaluates biochars produced from cocoa, flamboyant, and locust bean pods using an autothermal top‐lit updraft gasifier with retort heating, a system ...

IMPLEMENTATION OF TWO TELEMETER DESIGNS FOR HIGH ACCURACY LASER RANGING OF KILOMETER SCALE DISTANCES IN SPACE [PDF]
We present two different laser ranging systems under development, both based on the use of a high frequency modulated beam. The first range meter makes no use of interferometry: only the phase of the return beam is detected, in a way that rejects cyclic ...

ABSTRACT The suboptimal efficiency of current biomass conversion processes necessitates the optimization of biochar production methodologies to enhance desired biochar characteristics. In this study, an investigation was conducted to determine the optimal air inlet configuration within a top‐lit updraft gasifier system for enhancing biochar properties ...

Methane Generation Using an Anaerobic Biodigester From Waste Leachate Water
ABSTRACT Leachate wastewater (LWW) is characterized by slow biodegradation and low biogas production due to resistant materials and limited biological activity. Therefore, applying pretreatments is essential to improving biodegradation potential, which consequently boosts energy recovery.

ABSTRACT Saruq al‐Hadid, located at the edge of the Rub Al‐Khali desert near Dubai's southern border with Abu Dhabi, is among the region's richest archaeological sites. Renowned for its historical role in metallurgy, trade and human habitation, the site was occupied from the Umm an‐Nar period through the post–Iron Age. Despite its significance, much of
