Effect of a fungicide Vitavax on Allium cepa.

Fast growing young root tips of Allium cepa were treated with 100, 300, 500 and 1000 mg/I of Vitavax (75% WP) for 6, 24 and 48 hrs. Controls were maintain ed in all cases and recovery experiments were conducted in case of treated root tips. Control as well as treated roots were excised and fixed in acetic-alcohol for 24 hrs and preserved in 70% alcohol.
