EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

The frequencies of almost periodic solutions of almost periodic differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Australian Mathematical Society, 1974
AbstractAlmost periodic solutions of a first order almost periodic differential equation in Rp are shown to have less than p basic frequencies additional to the basic frequencies of the almost periodic right hand of the equation.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Existence of generalized almost periodic and asymptotic almost periodic solutions to abstract Volterra integro-differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
The main aim of this paper is to study the asymptotic almost periodicity, Stepanov almost periodicity, and asymptotic Stepanov almost periodicity of various classes of regularized solution operator families appearing in the theory of abstract Volterra

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Almost periodic solutions of differential inclusions governed by subdifferentials

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
Sufficient conditions are given to ensure the existence and eventually the uniqueness of bounded and almost periodic solutions of evolution equations governed by subdifferential operators.

Almost periodic solutions of impulsive integro‐differential neural networks

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2010
In this paper, sufficient conditions are established for the existence of almost periodic solutions for system of impulsive integro‐differential neural networks.

Almost periodic solution in distribution for stochastic differential equations with Stepanov almost periodic coefficients

open access: yes, 2017
This paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of ($\mu$-pseudo) almost periodic mild solution to some evolution equations with Stepanov ($\mu$-pseudo) almost periodic coefficients, in both determinist and stochastic cases.
