Convergence Rates and H\"older Estimates in Almost-Periodic Homogenization of Elliptic Systems
For a family of second-order elliptic systems in divergence form with rapidly oscillating almost-periodic coefficients, we obtain estimates for approximate correctors in terms of a function that quantifies the almost periodicity of the coefficients.

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Dynamical behavior of a general non-autonomous dynamical system
In this work, we investigate dynamical notions such as minimality, almost periodicity, equicontinuity, transitivity, proximality and periodicity for a general non-autonomous dynamical system.

Various limit theorems for ratios from the uniform distribution
In this paper, we consider the ratios of order statistics in samples from uniform distribution and establish strong and weak laws for these ratios.

A parameter uniform hybrid approach for singularly perturbed two-parameter parabolic problem with discontinuous data [PDF]
In this article, we address singularly perturbed two-parameter parabolic problem of the reaction-convection-diffusion type in two dimensions. These problems exhibit discontinuities in the source term and convection coeffi-cient at particular domain ...

A simple characterization of almost uniform convergence by stochastic convergence
Motivated by Egorov's theorem and the characterization of the equivalence of P-stochastic convergence and P-almost convergence by the property of the probability distribution P to be purely atomic and concentrated on a countable number of pairwise disjoint P-atoms (cf. [1], p. 68), it is proved that P-stochastic resp. P-almost convergence is equivalent

This study explores the lightweight potential of laser additive‐manufactured NiTi triply periodic minimal surface sheet lattices. It systematically investigates the effects of relative density and unit cell size on surface quality, deformation recovery, compression behavior, and energy absorption.

Quantitative Homogenization of Elliptic PDE with Random Oscillatory Boundary Data [PDF]
We study the averaging behavior of nonlinear uniformly elliptic partial differential equations with random Dirichlet or Neumann boundary data oscillating on a small scale.

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

A generalization of the global limit theorems of R. P. Agnew
For distribution functions {Fn,n≥0}, the relationship between the weak convergence of Fn to F0 and the convergence of ∫Rϕ(|Fn−F0|)dx to 0 is studied where ϕ is a nonnegative, nondecreasing function.
