Topological analysis of the human lymph node reticular network predicts outcome in breast cancer

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract Axillary LNs (ALNs) initiate immune responses in breast cancer (BC) but how and when ALNs become dysfunctional, facilitating metastasis, is unclear. The fibroblastic reticular cell (FRC) network within ALNs provides structural support and mediates immune homeostasis, but we have yet to elucidate whether this network changes during BC ...

Impacts of homoepitaxial AlN thickness on the qualities of AlGaN QWs fabricated on the face-to-face annealed sputter-deposited AlN templates

open access: yesApplied Physics Express
AlGaN quantum wells (QWs) emitting at 265 nm were fabricated on face-to-face annealed sputter-deposited AlN (FFA Sp-AlN) templates with n-AlGaN and different homoepitaxial AlN thicknesses (200–2000 nm) by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE). Thicker

NiPS3/GaN photodetector with bias‐selected photoresponse mode for reconfigurable optoelectronic logic and neuromorphic vision

open access: yesResponsive Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a NiPS3/GaN photodetector with a broadband response from ultraviolet to visible light. Its performance, enabled by dynamically tuning the competition between photothermoelectric, photovoltaic, and photoconductive effects, facilitates applications in imaging, optoelectronic synapses, and reconfigurable logic gates.
