Silymarin attenuates 3‐nitropropionic acid–induced oxidative stress and apoptosis in mouse brain and hippocampal neurons by inhibiting TRPV1 channel activation. TRPV1 blockade reduces Ca2+ influx, mitochondrial ROS generation, and caspase‐mediated cell death, conferring neuroprotection.
