Overview of Alternaria alternata Membrane Proteins
Alternaria species are mainly saprophytic fungi, but some pathotypes of Alternaria alternata infect economically important plants including cereal crops, vegetables and fruits. Specially, A. alternata generates toxins which contaminate food and feed. To date, management of A. alternata relies primarily on fungicides.

Evolution of pathogenicity controlled by small, dispensable chromosomes in Alternaria alternata pathogens [PDF]
Alternaria alternata includes seven pathogenic variants, called pathotypes, which produce host-selective toxins (HSTs) as determinant factors for pathogenicity.

Blockade of IL-33 release and suppression of type 2 innate lymphoid cell responses by helminth secreted products in airway allergy [PDF]
Helminth parasites such as the nematode Heligmosomoides polygyrus strongly inhibit T helper type 2 (Th2) allergy, as well as colitis and autoimmunity. Here, we show that the soluble excretory/secretory products of H.

Effects of Alternaria alternata f.sp. lycopersici toxins on pollen [PDF]
Effects of the phytotoxic compounds (AAL-toxins) isolated from cell-free culture filtrates of Alternaria alternata f.sp. lycopersici on in vitro pollen development were studied. AAL-toxins inhibited both germination and tube growth of pollen from several
