Abelian surfaces of GL2-type as Jacobians of curves
We study the set of isomorphism classes of principal polarizations on abelian varieties of GL2-type. As applications of our results, we construct examples of curves C, C'/\Q of genus two which are nonisomorphic over \bar \Q and share isomorphic ...

A literature survey of low-rank tensor approximation techniques [PDF]
During the last years, low-rank tensor approximation has been established as a new tool in scientific computing to address large-scale linear and multilinear algebra problems, which would be intractable by classical techniques.

A class of knots with simple $SU(2)$ representations
We call a knot in the 3-sphere $SU(2)$-simple if all representations of the fundamental group of its complement which map a meridian to a trace-free element in $SU(2)$ are binary dihedral. This is a generalisation of being a 2-bridge knot.

Alternating Group Explicit Iterative Methods for One-Dimensional Advection-Diffusion Equation
The finite difference method such as alternating group iterative methods is useful in numerical method for evolutionary equations and this is the standard approach taken in this paper. Alternating group explicit (AGE) iterative methods for one-dimensional convection diffusion equations problems are given.

ABSTRACT Ongoing evidence indicates increased risk of sarcopenic obesity among children and young people (CYP) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), often beginning early in treatment, persisting into survivorship. This review evaluates current literature on body composition in CYP with ALL during and after treatment.

An Iterative Explicit Method for Parabolic Problems with Cylindrical Symmetry-Increased Accuracy on Non-Uniform Grid [PDF]
In this paper, the alternating group explicit (AGt-j iterative method is applied to cylindrical problems involving regular domains on a non-uniform grid.

On Building superpotentials in F- GUTs
Using characters of finite group representations, we construct the fusion algebras of operators of the spectrum of F- theory GUTs. These fusion relations are used in building monodromy invariant superpotentials of the low energy effective 4d $\mathcal{N}=

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.
