Alternating group explicit method for the dispersive equation

International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 2000
Here the strategy of the group explicit method is applied to the numerical solution of a linear dispersive equation. An alternating group explicit method (AGE) for the equation with the periodic boundary condition is derived. The stability of the method is discussed.

The Alternating Group Explicit (AGE) method for singularly perturbed boundary value problems

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 1995
The paper presents a computational method for the solution of singularly perturbed boundary value problems, designed on the basis of the alternating group explicit (AGE) method. The AGE scheme, which is analogous to the alternate direction implicit method and was earlier developed for solving two-point boundary value problems, employs the fractional ...

The spline alternating group explicit (splage) method for two dimensional problems

International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1999
A new group explicit iterative method based on cubic spline approximations is presented for the numerical solution of partial differential equations. The numerical results obtained confirm the viability of the method.

On modified alternating group explicit (mage) method for singular perturbation problems

International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1994
The application of Modified Alternating Group Explicit (MAGE) method for singular perturbation problems has been discussed. The solutions obtained by this method are compared with the exact solution. The comparison of this method with the AGE method is also given. The Parallel implementation of the MAGE method is discussed.

Single Alternating Group Explicit (SAGE) Method for Electrochemical Finite Difference Digital Simulation

Chinese Journal of Chemistry, 2002
AbstractThe four different schemes of Group Explicit Method (GEM): GER, GEL, SAGE and DAGE have been claimed to be unstable when employed for electrochemical digital simulations with large model diffusion coefficient DM. However, in this investigation, in spite of the conditional stability of GER and GEL, the SAGE scheme, which is a combination of GEL ...

Alternating group explicit method with exponential-type for the diffusion–convection equation

International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 2006
Based on the semi-explicit asymmetric exponential schemes constructed by the author, a new alternating group explicit (AGE) method with exponential-type for the numerical solution of the convection–diffusion equation is derived in the paper. The method has the obvious property of parallelism and is unconditionally stable.
