Reverse‐bias stability in monolithic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells requires a silicon–current‐limited regime. When the perovskite current exceeds the silicon current, the reverse voltage is mainly borne by the silicon cell, reducing perovskite stress.

The Altitude Adaptive Dual Bell Nozzle
The dual bell nozzle has been found out to be one of the most promising concepts for alti-tude adaption of the nozzle jet. The wall contour inflection linking the base nozzle with the ex-tension provides two stable operating modes, circumventing the area

Simulating past and future refugia for temperate trees in northern Italy
During the Quaternary, trees responded to the climatic changes of glacial–interglacial cycles with large‐scale range shifts. Over cold glacials, temperate tree species contracted their ranges and survived in areas known as refugia. Several studies point to the Euganean Hills (Colli Euganei), in Veneto, northern Italy, as one of the northernmost ...

A passive high altitude deorbiting strategy
A deorbiting strategy for small satellites, in particular CubeSats, is proposed which exploits the effect of solar radiation pressure to increase the spacecraft orbit eccentricity so that the perigee falls below an altitude where atmospheric drag will ...

A scalable, color‐adaptive radiative cooling coating is developed to enable dynamic spectral regulation via a reversible thermochromic transition at ~45 °C and a high solar reflectance of 91.7%. The coating achieves 4.44 °C outdoor sub‐ambient cooling while providing robust superhydrophobicity and environmental durability through its micro/nano ...

The Lung At High Altitude: Between Physiology And Pathology
The lungs play a pivotal role in adaptation to high altitude. The increase in ventilation and the rise in pulmonary artery pressure are the first features of lung response to hypoxic exposure.

Abstract This study evaluates the potential of a new organic fertilizer derived from porcine intestinal mucosa (designated BHE), a by‐product of the heparin extraction process, as a sustainable nitrogen (N) source for agriculture. The work was conducted in two stages: (i) chemical and spectroscopic characterization of BHE compared with poultry litter ...
