Reasons for mini-implants failure: choosing installation site should be valued!
Mini-implant loss is often associated with physical and mechanical aspects that result from choosing an inappropriate placement site. It is worth highlighting that: a) Interdental alveolar bone crests are flexible and deformable.

An ideal implant should mimic native tissues such that it can integrate, sense, heal, and continue to function, i.e., be autonomous. Although early, there are good steps taken in this way, e.g., the development of stimuli‐responsive, self‐powering, self‐actuating, self‐healing, self‐regenerating, and self‐aware implants.

ALVEOLAR BONE LOSS AND TOOTH LOSS IN MALE CIGAR AND PIPE SMOKERS
While cigarette smoking is recognized as being detrimental to oral health, the effects of cigar and pipe smoking on tooth-loss risk, alveolar bone loss and periodontal disease are not known. The authors conducted this study to determine whether cigar and pipe smokers were at greater risk of experiencing tooth loss and alveolar bone loss than were ...

Citrate‐Enhanced PCL Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering
This study investigates citrate‐enhanced polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds designed for bone tissue engineering. Utilizing 3D printing technology, four scaffold patterns (triple hexagon, grid, gyroid, zigzag) are evaluated for mechanical properties, cellular proliferation, osteogenic differentiation, and gene expression.
