α-Amanitin Tolerance in Mycophagous Drosophila
Science, 1983Six species of Drosophila were tested for tolerance to the mushroom toxin α-amanitin, a potent inhibitor of RNA polymerase II. Three nonmycophagous species— D. melanogaster , D. immigrans , and D. pseudoobscura —showed very low survival and long

Aucubin: Potential Antidote For Alpha-Amanitin Poisoning
Journal of Toxicology: Clinical Toxicology, 1984Aucubin, an iridoid glucoside isolated from Aucuba japonica (Cornaceae), exhibited significant protective activity against alpha-amanitin intoxication in mice. When a single dose of aucubin was administered intraperitoneally, a 50% survival rate was obtained even when the treatment was withheld for 12 hr after alpha-amanitin administration.

1975
So far, most experimental investigations concerning amanitin poisoning have been done in the mouse or in the rat. In order to obtain conditions which could be better compared to human intoxication, we chose the dog for experiments. Among the amatoxins available, there are two compounds, which can be radioactively labelled: 14[C]O-methyl-γ-amanitin and ...

New Aspects of Amanitin and Phalloidin Poisoning
1996The green death cap Amanita phalloides produces two families of toxic peptides, the amatoxins and the phallotoxins. Amatoxins are by far the more dangerous toxins and account for all fatalities occurring in human mushroom poisoning.

Production of high purity beta amanitin
2012Amaç: Beta amanitin nadiren bilimsel araştırmalarda kullanılmakta ve kullanımı gün geçtikçeartmaktadır. Piyasada bu ürün %90 saflıkta ticari olarak satılmaktadır. Bu araştırmada yükseksaflıkta beta amanitin üretme yöntemi tanımlanmıştır.Yöntem: Saflaştırma işlemi Amanita phalloides mantarlarından ekstraksiyonla yapılmıştır.Öncelikle bu mantarlar ...
