Amaranthus retroflexus L. Artbeschreibung: 10-100 cm hoch, verzweigt, bleichgrün. Stängel kurzhaarig. Blätter rhombisch oder eiförmig, etwas wellig, mit aufgesetzter Spitze. Blütenstände dicht, meist verzweigt, endständig und in Blattwinkeln, hellgrün. Vorblätter 1-2mal so lang wie die Blüten, in eine Stachelspitze ausgezogen.
