Business and Biodiversity: Measurement of an Ambiguous Goal
Biodiversity serves as a silent partner to businesses by nurturing critical resources, providing natural infrastructure, and fostering an environment in which industries and businesses thrive. Increasingly, biodiversity loss threatens the natural foundations of businesses and the overall well-being of societies.

Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Ambiguity Aversion and Absence of Trade [PDF]
What is the effect of ambiguity aversion on trade? Although in a Bewley's model ambiguity aversion always lead to less trade, in other models this is not always true.

Divergence-Based Risk Measures: A Discussion on Sensitivities and Extensions
This paper introduces a new family of the convex divergence-based risk measure by specifying ( h , ϕ ) -divergence, corresponding with the dual representation.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Ambiguity and Social Interaction [PDF]
We present a non-technical account of ambiguity in strategic games and show how it may be applied to economics and social sciences. Optimistic and pessimistic responses to ambiguity are formally modelled.

Assessment of global phase uncertainty in case-control studies
Background In haplotype-based candidate gene studies a problem is that the genotype data are unphased, which results in haplotype ambiguity. The measure 1 quantifies haplotype predictability from genotype data.

Lipidic nanoparticles (LNPs) were incubated with 21 gut bacteria frequently associated with the human microbiome. SAXS revealed that ∼75% of tested species induced structural transformations in monoolein LNPs, whereas phytantriol and phospholipid formulations remained unaffected.
