Hybrid organic–inorganic two-dimensional metal carbide MXenes with amido- and imido-terminated surfaces

Nature Chemistry, 2023
Functionalizing two-dimensional transition-metal carbide (MXene) surfaces can alter their properties, but covalent functionalization has been synthetically challenging.

A Parent Iron Amido Complex in Catalysis of Ammonia Oxidation.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022
Parent amido complexes are crucial intermediates in ammonia-based transformations. We report a well-defined ferric ammine system [Cp*Fe(1,2-Ph2PC6H4NH)(NH3)]+ ([1-NH3]+), which processes electrocatalytic ammonia oxidation to N2 and H2 at a mild potential.

Hyperbranched Poly(amido amine) Demulsifiers Using Diaminonaphthalene as the Central Core and Their Demulsification Performance in Oil-in-Water and Water-in-Oil Emulsions

, 2021
Hyperbranched poly(amido amine) demulsifiers (PNDA-1 or PNDA-2) were synthesized with 1,5-diaminonaphthalene or 1,8-diaminonaphthalene as the central core by an improved “one-pot” method.

Enhanced marine applicability of adsorbent for uranium via synergy of hyperbranched poly(amido amine) and amidoxime groups

, 2020
Uranium extraction from seawater has attracted attention owing to the growing demand for nuclear energy. However, it remains challenging because of the complexities of the marine environment, such as competing metal ions, high salinity, alkaline pH (8.3),

Kinetics, Thermodynamics, and Modeling of Amido Black Dye Photodegradation in Water Using Co/TiO2 Nanoparticles

Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2018
Titanium oxide nanoparticles were doped with copper and characterized by XRD, FT‐IR, TEM, and SEM. The surface morphology was spherical with 15–26 nm as particle size. The doped titanium oxide (Co/TiO2) nanomaterial was used for photodegradation of amido
