A one-pot lithiation–phosphonylation procedure was elaborated as a method to prepare heteroaromatic phosphonic acids. It relied on the direct lithiation of heteroaromatics followed by phosphonylation with diethyl chlorophosphite and then oxidation with ...

Four diphenyl pyrene-derived aminophosphonates were synthesized. Attempts were made to synthesize diphenyl N-(R)-α-methylbenzylamino(pyren-1-yl)methylphosphonate (3e) in order to obtain the chiral aminophosphonate bearing a pyrene moiety.

Addition of Di(trimethylsilyl) Phosphite to Schiff Bases of 2,5-Diformylfuran [PDF]
A series of 2,5-Furanyl-bis-(aminomethylphosphonic Acids) has been synthesized by the addition of di(trimethylsilyl) phosphite to azomethine bond of achiral Schiff bases derved from 2,5-diformylfuran.

Chelating Tendencies of Bioactive Aminophosphonates
The metal‐binding abilities of a wide variety of bioactive aminophosphonates, from the simple aminoethanephosphonic acids to the rather large macrocyclic polyaza derivatives, are discussed with special emphasis on a comparison of the analogous carboxylic acid and phosphonic acid systems.

Physiological Activity of Some Aminophosphonates
Abstract Influence of some new am inophosphonates on electrolyte leakage from cucumber (Cucu-mis sativus cv "Wisconsin") cotyledons as well as on the content of chlorophyll and activity of guaiacol and pyrogallol peroxidase were studied.

Cinchona based squaramide catalysed enantioselective Michael addition of a-nitrophosphonates to aryl acrylates: enantioselective synthesis of quaternary a-aminophosphonates [PDF]
Several cinchona based squaramide catalysts were applied to the asymmetric Michael addition of α-nitroethylphosphonates to acrylic acid aryl esters, resulting in high yields and enantioselectivities.

Synthesis of Tetrasubstituted Phosphorus Analogs of Aspartic Acid as Antiproliferative Agents [PDF]
An efficient general method for the synthesis of a wide family of α-aminophosphonate analogs of aspartic acid bearing tetrasubstituted carbons is reported through an aza-Reformatsky reaction of α-iminophosphonates, generated from α-aminophosphonates, in ...
