4-Aminopyridine kinetics

Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, 1982
Nine healthy subjects (7 men; 2 women) received single 20-mg IV injections of 4-aminopyridine (4-AP). Six of the subjects received the same dose in the form of enteric-coated tablets and four the same dose in uncoated tablets; treatments were at least 2 wk apart.

Aminopyridine-induced seizure activity

Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, 1979
Typical seizure activity can be induced by applying 3-aminopyridine to the surface of the cat cortex. The well known characteristics of epileptiform discharges were readily observed by simultaneous recording from both the surface and deeper layers.

6-Aminopyridine-3-thiol

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 2002
The title compound, C(5)H(6)N(2)S, is a simple but novel pyridinethiol of pharmacological interest. The molecule is planar. The crystal packing is dominated by hydrophobic contacts and a pair of hydrogen-bond interactions between the amino group of one pyridine molecule and the ring N atom of a neighbouring base, stabilizing the structure.
