Influence of Microstructure and Heat Treatment on the Corrosion Resistance of Mg-1Zn Alloy Produced by Laser Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesMetals
The corrosion behavior of an additively manufactured Mg-1Zn alloy was investigated in both the transverse and longitudinal directions relative to the build direction, in the as-built condition and after annealing at 350 °C for 24 h under high vacuum ...

Partial recovery of large seed arrival following ecological restoration in fragmented tropical rainforests

open access: yesOikos, EarlyView.
Forest restoration success depends crucially on the reinitiation of ecological processes such as seed arrival that drive natural regeneration. We know little about whether, by increasing and diversifying local seed sources to alleviate seed limitation, and attracting animal frugivores to alleviate dispersal limitation, restoration could shift seed ...

Structure and functional genes associated with carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur cycling processes in periphyton: A comparison between natural and artificial rivers

open access: yesRiver, EarlyView.
Network analysis of functional genes among prokaryotes, and eukaryotes in natural and artificial rivers. Abstract Periphyton in aquatic ecosystems plays vital roles in the elemental cycle process and is vulnerable to anthropogenic interference. However, few studies have explored the elemental cycles of carbon (C), nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and ...

Advancing Green Human Resource Management Aspects and Practices in Organizations: The Power of Fuzzy Importance Performance Analysis

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drawing on intersections between the Ability–Motivation–Opportunity (AMO) framework and the Resource‐Based View of the Firm (RBV‐F), this research critiques key convergent and divergent theoretical aspects of Green HRM. This approach led to the formulation and implementation of a Fuzzy Importance–Performance Analysis (FIPA) method to evaluate ...

Coupled Oceanic-Atmospheric Variability and U.S. Streamflow

open access: yes, 2005
A study of the influence of interdecadal, decadal, and interannual oceanic-atmospheric influences on streamflow in the United States is presented. Unimpaired streamflow was identified for 639 stations in the United States for the period 1951–2002.

Green Transformational Leadership, GHRM, and Pro‐Environmental Behavior: Pathways to Sustainable Healthcare

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of green transformational leadership, green human resource management, and pro‐environmental behavior on sustainable performance. Despite the increasing emphasis on environmental sustainability, the mechanisms through which organizational practices translate into sustainable outcomes remain insufficiently ...

Influence of Temperature on the Reliability of Graphene‐Based Ozone Sensors

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The reliability and stability of inkjet‐printed graphene flake sensors are evaluated. Stress assessments take place in ozone‐rich environments and at elevated temperatures, with the observation of a change in resistance. Surface‐sensitive techniques serve to investigate the failure and degradation mechanisms of printed graphene.
