Domain wall dynamics in nanocrystalline microwires [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The domain wall velocity in amorphous microwires approaches very high values up to 20 km/s but dynamics is extremely sensitive to time and temperature. On the other hand, high stability in crystalline materials is paid by very low velocity of the domain ...

The Study of Magnetization Process in Amorphous FeNiSiB Microwires

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica A, 2010
We have studied the magnetization process in amorphous Fe49.6Ni27.9Si7.5B15 microwire. It was found that the hysteresis mechanism consists of two contributions: magnetoelastic and structural relaxation. It was shown that at low frequencies, the magnetization process is controlled mainly by the structural relaxation. At higher frequencies (above 50 Hz),

Properties of Fe-based Microwires [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The Fe-based composition of cast amorphous glass-coated microwires with positive magnetostriction constant is investigated. The residual stresses distributions in this type of microwires determine domain structures and switching field behavior.

Ferromagnetic resonance in Co-rich glass-coated amorphous microwires

open access: yes, 2001
[EN] The ferromagnetic resonance, FMR, of two different Co based glass-coated amorphous microwires about 10 mum in diameter with large and vanishing magnetostriction, respectively, has been investigated from power absorption measurements in the microwave

Magnetic properties of Fe-based amorphous magnetic microwires

open access: yesMoldavian Journal of the Physical Sciences, 2017
The magnetic characteristics of Fe-based cast amorphous glass-coated microwires (with a positive magnetostriction constant) have been studied. The residual stress distributions in this type of microwires determine the domain structures and the switching ...

Current induced domain wall propagation in Co-rich amorphous microwires

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
We studied the influence of the AC current flowing through the magnetically bistable Co-rich microwire on the magnetization dynamics. We used previously developed Sixtus-Tonks modified set-up for evaluation of the domain wall (DW) velocity within the ...
