Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

AMPLITUDE AND FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS OF REGENERATIVE AMPLIFIERS OF O-TYPE OF THE SUBMILLIMETRIC WAVE BANDS

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
On the basis of the developed mathematical model of orboklystron-amplifiers with sheet beams calculations of frequency and peak characteristics of regenerative amplifiers on frequencies of 180-600 GHz are carried out.

Electronic Poiseuille flow in hexagonal boron nitride encapsulated graphene field effect transistors

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2023
Electron-electron interactions in graphene are sufficiently strong to induce a correlated and momentum-conserving flow such that charge carriers behave similarly to the Hagen-Poiseuille flow of a classical fluid.

Identifying gene expression signatures for risk stratification of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in colorectal cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A novel signature integrating genome‐wide analysis with clinical factors predicts recurrence in stage II colorectal cancer and enables a new risk stratification to guide postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical risk stratification for postoperative recurrence in patients with pathological stage II (pStage II) colorectal cancer (CRC) is essential ...

The McCance Brain Care Score and Mortality: Evidence From a Large‐Scale Population‐Based Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives This study aimed to examine the relationship between the McCance Brain Care Score (BCS) and mortality in the general population. Methods We conducted a prospective, population‐based cohort study using data from the UK Biobank. Participants with complete data enabling calculation of BCS and full mortality information were included ...

TWO-CASCADE REGENERATIVE AMPLIFIERS OF O-TYPE OF THE SUBMILLIMETRIC WAVE BANDS

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
The mathematical model of the two-cascade orboklystron-amplifier with sheet beams is formulated. Calculations of amplitude characteristics of regenerative amplifiers on frequency of 180 GHz are resulted.

Evaluating a Pragmatic Strength Alternative for Frailty Measurement and Assessing Its Predictive Capacity Against Established Frailty Instruments in Rheumatoid Arthritis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Frailty occurs prematurely in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is associated with poor health outcomes. We compared the performance of four frailty instruments, including a pragmatic alternative measure using chair sit‐to‐stand (STS), and evaluated their abilities to predict poor health outcomes.
