Signal-to-Noise Ratio Comparison of Amplify-Forward and Direct Link in Wireless Sensor Networks [PDF]
We compare the signal-to-noise ratio performances of an amplify-forward relay link and a direct link in a wireless sensor network. For a slow Rayleigh fading channel, an exact expression for the probability that the SNR of an amplify-forward relay link ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Robust Beamforming for Amplify-and-Forward MIMO Relay Systems Based on Quadratic Matrix Programming [PDF]
In this paper, robust transceiver design based on minimum-mean-square-error (MMSE) criterion for dual-hop amplify-and-forward MIMO relay systems is investigated.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Hybrid Full-Duplex and Alternate Multiple Relay Selection and Beamforming in AF Cooperative Networks
In this paper, multiple relay selection and beamforming techniques are applied to a dual-hop full-duplex (FD) amplify-and-forward relaying network. We show that our proposed techniques allow the selection to be adaptive to the residual self-interference (

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Interference Channels With Full-Duplex Amplify-and-Forward Receiver Cooperations
This paper considers a two-transmitter and two-receiver interference channel (IC), where each transmitter sends a message to its desired receiver. In particular, the full-duplex (FD) amplify-and-forward (AF) protocol is adopted to build up the receiver ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
