Abstract BACKGROUND Alzheimer disease (AD), the leading cause of dementia, has increased interest in the development of blood‐based biomarkers for early diagnosis and monitoring. The plasma amyloid beta (Aβ)42/Aβ40 ratio and phosphorylated tau (p‐tau) isoforms closely align with cerebrospinal fluid and positron emission tomography markers.

Objective Blood‐based biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease (AD), representing antemortem indicators of AD pathophysiology, have greatly improved the accuracy of diagnosis. However, these biomarkers may not capture a frequent coincident pathology, such as cerebrovascular disease.

ABSTRACT Background Thrombocytopenia is less common but shows high risk of early mortality in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) patients. In the era of novel agents‐based induction therapy (NAIT), it is unclear whether NAIT can overcome the poor prognosis associated with thrombocytopenia.

IgG‐Secreting Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma Presenting With Massive Kidney Infiltration
ABSTRACT Various factors related to lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) can lead to kidney complications; however, LPL‐related kidney complications are not as well‐described as those with multiple myeloma. Here, we report a case of IgG‐secreting LPL presenting with acute kidney injury owing to direct tumor infiltration.

Generating MRI‐Derived CSF Proxy‐Markers to Predict and Visualize Alzheimer's Disease Progression
Deep learning models trained on structural MRI to predict cerebrospinal fluid‐based amyloid and tau concentrations can generate latent representations (MRI‐derived CSF proxy/surrogate markers) that can be subsequently transferred for Alzheimer's disease detection and risk prediction, bypassing noninvasive testing and enabling regional distribution ...
