The feeding behavior of poultry at a young age is very likely to determine the final growth of the chicken, and can also reflect the feeding status and the health status. It is also of great significance for breeding. This paper describes the development

Continuous-time cascaded ΣΔ modulators for VDSL: A comparative study [PDF]
This paper describes new cascaded continuous-time ΣΔ modulators intended to cope with very high-rate digital subscriber line specifications, i.e 12-bit resolution within a 20-MHz signal bandwidth.

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Analysis and application of digital spectral warping in analog and mixed-signal testing [PDF]
Spectral warping is a digital signal processing transform which shifts the frequencies contained within a signal along the frequency axis. The Fourier transform coefficients of a warped signal correspond to frequency-domain 'samples' of the original ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Novel realization of GIC based wave digital filters using Al-Alaoui transform
By using the concepts of wave characterization, Al-Alaoui transform and generalized immittance converter (GIC), a new digital GIC structure is proposed which is capable of realizing all the standard second-order digital filter sections.

Two-Timescale Hybrid Compression and Forward for Massive MIMO Aided C-RAN
We consider the uplink of a cloud radio access network (C-RAN), where massive MIMO remote radio heads (RRHs) serve as relays between users and a centralized baseband unit (BBU). Although employing massive MIMO at RRHs can improve the spectral efficiency,
