Time Constrained Verification of Analog Circuits using Model-Checking Algorithms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this contribution we present algorithms for model checking of analog circuits enabling the specification of time constraints. Furthermore, a methodology for defining time-based specifications is introduced.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Low Turn-Off Loss 4H-SiC Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor With a Trench Heterojunction Collector

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2020
In this work, an improved 4H-SiC insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT), or CTH-IGBT, with a trench p-polySi/p-SiC heterojunction on the backside of the device is proposed to reduce the turn-off energy loss (Eoff) and turn-off time (Toff).

Symbolic analysis of large analog integrated circuits by approximation during expression generation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
A novel algorithm is presented that generates approximate symbolic expressions for small-signal characteristics of large analog integrated circuits. The method is based upon the approximation of an expression while it is being computed.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.
