Components for oversampled signal processors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Oversampled converters trade transmission bandwidth for resolution. An idealized model gives an insight into the way in which signals are encoded and thus how they can be manipulated.

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Analogy and Metaphoric Process

open access: yesTheological Studies, 2001
The author argues that the dispute between Elizabeth Johnson and Joseph Bracken about the doctrine of God is rooted in a disagreement about how we know and speak of God. The difference is characterized as a choice between one view that sees theology's task as finding appropriate analogies for conceiving God and another view governed by the assumption ...

A new 130nm F.E readout chip for microstrip detectors

open access: yes, 2009
In the context of the Silicon tracking for a Linear Collider (SiLC) R&D collaboration, a highly compact mixed-signal chip has been designed in 130nm CMOS technology intended to read Silicon strip detectors for the experiments at the future International ...

Auxiliary circuit enables automatic monitoring of EKG'S [PDF]

open access: yes, 1965
Auxiliary circuits allow direct, automatic monitoring of electrocardiograms by digital computers. One noiseless square-wave output signal for each trigger pulse from an electrocardiogram preamplifier is produced.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Approximation of First–Order Complex Resonators in the Frequency–Domain

open access: yesIEEE Access
A novel approach for implementing first-order complex filters without the requirement of two separate signal paths, for the real and imaginary parts of the transfer function, is introduced in this work. This is achieved by employing a curve-fitting based

Simple first order data compression processor concept [PDF]

open access: yes, 1967
Data-compression processing systems based on an analog-to-digital converter /ADC/, includes a qualitative comparator for comparison of the ADC output with a ramp generator, which is connected as a bidirectional binary counter with selective inputs.
