Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Computer Aided Analysis of Turbine Blade Vibration Test Data

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 1973
A pilot system has been developed which automatically scans and evaluates experimental vibration data obtained from a test rig replica of a bladed wheel of a turbine in service. High vibration amplitude signals are selected for further analysis.

The Relationship Between Inflammation and Central Nervous System in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune demyelination disease that is seen especially in the young population and has a progressive course, causing motor, sensory, and cognitive deficits. In the literature, the pathogenesis of MS disease and the interconnection between the immune and central nervous system in the disease have not been fully ...

Digitizing UK analogue magnetogram records from large geomagnetic storms of the past two centuries

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal, 2023
Continuous geomagnetic records of the strength and direction of the Earth's field at the surface extend back to the 1840s. Over the past two centuries, eight observatories have existed in the United Kingdom, which measured the daily field variations ...

Use of Symptomatic Drug Treatment for Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis and Patterns of Work Loss

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To describe the use of central stimulants and amantadine for fatigue in MS and evaluate a potential association with reduced work loss in people with MS. Methods We conducted a nationwide, matched, register‐based cohort study in Sweden (2006 to 2023) using national registers with prospective data collection.

Time‐interleaving design of error‐feedback sigma‐delta modulators with infinite impulse response noise transfer function

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices and Systems, 2021
Transceivers built to modern communication standards tend to be as digital as possible, including the radio‐frequency stages. This forces the digital‐to‐analogue converters (DACs) in the transmitter section to have a large bandwidth.
