Analogue Current Mode Circuits
International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 1989Circuits designed to use current as the active parameter can often outperform by a significant margin the more traditional voltage mode formulations. Many wideband circuit functions and new design opportunities are available by using current mirrors and current conveyors as basic building blocks.

GaAs sampled-analogue integrated circuits
Journal of the Institution of Electronic and Radio Engineers, 1987Sampled-analogue design technique is a rather neglected area of GaAs i. e. exploitation which has a wide range of potential applications in the area of high performance filtering through the use of the techniques described here. Although many other devices such as analogue to digital converters (ADCs) properly fall within the scope of this paper, they ...

Novel analogue CMOS defuzzification circuit
IEE Proceedings - Circuits, Devices and Systems, 1995An analogue CMOS circuit technique for the implementation of defuzzification is proposed. The defuzzification method is based upon the normalisation locked loop (NLL) method, but with two key improvements: the compact representation of triangular membership functions, and a mechanism to ensure that the relative rule weight proportions are preserved ...

Analogue integrated circuits electrothermal modelling
Experience of Designing and Applications of CAD Systems in Microelectronics. Proceedings of the VI-th International Conference. CADSM 2001 (IEEE Cat. No.01 EX473), 2002Recent models of electronic devices included in most popular simulation programs hardly simulate the thermal effects. It is possible only to set the fixed temperature of the entire die to consider the influence of equal temperature on the electric parameters of those devices.

ESD for Analogue Circuit Design
2003Designing for Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) robustness is a critical requirement for Integrated Circuits (ICs) since ESD voltages as low as the Gate Oxide breakdown can damage an IC. This is especially true for the newer lower Geometry Processes where the Gate Oxide breakdowns are reducing all the time. ESD Protection for Analogue or mixed signal parts

Normally-Off Mesfet Analogue Circuits
16th European Microwave Conference, 1986, 1986A very small (0.04 mm2) monolithic DC to 2GHz, input/output matched, amplifier using enhancement mode GaAs MESFET's has been realized, to demonstrate the analog circuits capability of this type of transistor. The gain of the amplifier is 12dB, its noise factor is 2dB.

Diagnosability analysis of analogue circuits
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 1998Summary: If a circuit has been found to be faulty during design characterization before it is in high volume production, it may be useful to diagnose the cause of the failure. If faults are identified and located, a circuit can then be redesigned to be less sensitive to common failure mechanisms.

Integrated circuits for analogue systems
Microelectronics Reliability, 1973Because of the need for a large market and the initial problems with technically complex circuits, integrated circuits developed later for analogue than for digital systems. There are now two reasonably distinct groups of analogue circuits, namely those for professional use and those for incorporation in consumer equipment. In the former category ...

Analogue circuit design using the analogue design synthesis assistant (ADSA)
42nd Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.99CH36356), 2003The analogue design synthesis assistant (ADSA) is presented as a tool for the automated design and optimisation of analogue integrated circuits. ADSA implements analogue design synthesis using optimisation within an abstraction-based design framework.
