Untangling the Role of Capping Agents in Manipulating Electrochemical Behaviors Toward Practical Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by the critical role of capping agents in nanomaterials synthesis and bulk crystal growth, the role of capping agents in manipulating the electrochemical behaviors of AZIBs is untangled. The multifunctional role of the capping agents in terms of the Zn anode, electrolyte, and cathode validates stable and practical AZIBs. Abstract Long‐standing

2D Vacancy Confinement in Anatase TiO2 for Enhanced Photocatalytic Activities

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 15, April 16, 2025.
A new strategy to spatially confine oxygen vacancy (VO) is demonstrated in the homo‐interface of anatase TiO2. The confined VO in anatase TiO2 not only exhibits metallic behavior with high carrier density and electron mobility, but also promotes photocarrier lifetime.
