On some cohomological properties of almost complex manifolds

open access: yes, 2010
We study a special type of almost complex structures, called pure and full and introduced by T.J. Li and W. Zhang (arXiv:0708.2520, 2007), in relation to sym- plectic structures and Hard Lefschetz condition.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Manifolds of Hilbert Space Projections. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The Hardy space H2 () for the upper half-plane together with a multiplicative group of unimodular functions u() = exp(i(11 + ... +nn)), with n, gives rise to a manifold of orthogonal projections for the subspaces u() H2 () of L2 ().

Analysis on the crown domain

open access: yes, 2008
This paper is a further development of complex methods in harmonic analysis on semi-simple Lie groups [AG], [BeR], [KrS1,2]. We study the growth behaviour of the holomorphic extension of the orbit map of the spherical vector of an irreducible spherical ...

Weyl quantization for the semidirect product of a compact Lie group and a vector space [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
summary:Let $G$ be the semidirect product $V\rtimes K$ where $K$ is a semisimple compact connected Lie group acting linearly on a finite-dimensional real vector space $V$.

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.
