Many geometry problems at the university level, particularly in analytic geometry courses, tend to prioritize procedural tasks to foster deeper geometric thinking. This study aims to analyze and redesign existing geometry problems to enhance pre-service

An analytic solution of full-sky spherical geometry for satellite relative motions
Herein, an exact and efficient analytic solution for an unperturbed satellite relative motion was developed using a direct geometrical approach. The derivation of the relative motion geometrically interpreted the projected Keplerian orbits of the ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A Unified General Theory of Conic Sections via the Conic Radical
In this paper, we bring forth several new general formulae in the classic study of conics in the Analytic Geometry: the coordinates of all vertices and focal points of arbitrary parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas; lengths for all latera recta from any ...

Localized brane-world black hole analytically connected to an AdS5 boundary
We construct from first principles the geometry of an analytic, exponentially localized five-dimensional brane-world black hole. The black-hole singularity lies entirely on the 3-brane, while the event horizon is shown to have a pancake shape.

Analytic Coulomb matrix elements in a three-dimensional geometry
Using a complete basis set we have obtained an analytic expression for the matrix elements of the Coulomb interaction. These matrix elements are written in a closed form.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Scrutinizing the General Conic Equation
We present a general formula that transforms any conic of the form Ax2+Bxy+Cy2+Dx+Ey+F=0, with B≠0, into A′(x′)2+C′(y′)2+D′x′+E′y′+F=0, without requiring the rotation angle θ.
