Analytical Expressions for Formal Kinetics

Materials Science Forum, 2012
In recent papers Rios and Villa resorted to developments in stochastic geometry to revisit theclassical KJMA theory and generalize it for situations in which nuclei were located in space accordingto both homogeneous and inhomogeneous Poisson point processes as well as according to Materncluster process and surface and bulk nucleation in small specimens.

Analytic Expressions for Multivariate Lorenz Surfaces

Sankhya A, 2018
The paper introduces the basic concepts about univariate Lorenz curves and a short review about previous work related to multivariate Lorenz surfaces (MLS's). The multivariate Lorenz surface introduced by Arnold is discussed. The authors present the class of MLS's generated by mixtures and provide several examples of such MLS's.

Analytical expressions for magnetization curve

2017 Progress in Applied Electrical Engineering (PAEE), 2017
The paper considers some analytical expressions for magnetization curves of chosen soft magnetic steels. The limiting cases of the considered expressions in the low and high field regions are shown to correspond to well-known Rayleigh and law of approach to saturation (LAS) formulas.

Analytical expressions of Preisach Distribution Function

IEEE International Digest of Technical Papers on Magnetics Conference, 2003
Summary form only given. Preisach model of scalar hysteresis has demonstrated his capability to represent hysteretic behaviour, but it requires the accurate identification of the Preisach Distribution Function (PDF). The identification of PDF, P/sub irr/(/spl alpha/,/spl beta/), can be obtained by assuming the factorisation property P/sub irr/(/spl ...

Analytic expression for Fresnel diffraction

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 1998
An analytic formula for the light field amplitude (and therefore also intensity) behind a circular aperture illuminated by spherical or plane waves in the Fresnel limit is given, and the essential difference between Fresnel diffraction and Fraunhofer diffraction is discussed.

Analytical expression for the average ensquared energy

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2015
We derive an expression for the average area of intersection between a blur spot of radius R and a square pixel, where the center of the blur is uniformly chosen from the pixel interior. Implications of the result are then discussed in the context of a point source detection problem.

Simple analytical expressions for mesomolecular matrix elements

Physical Review A, 1990
The numerical values of dipole matrix elements related to the formation of dt\ensuremath{\mu} mesomolecules obtained using a simple asymptotic wave function are compared to more precise ones calculated from a nearly exact wave function. The agreement is acceptable, which suggests that quantities involved in mesomolecular processes may now be estimated ...

Analytic expression for baryon semileptonic decay rate

Physical Review D, 1988
In this paper we obtain an analytic formula for the decay rate of semileptonic decays of baryons, without neglecting any form factor allowed by Lorentz covariance or the mass of the charged lepton. No assumption is made as to the smallness of the momentum transfer.
