On the analytical form-finding of tensegrities
Composite Structures, 2017Abstract We propose a computationally efficient platform for the analytical form-finding of tensegrity structures. The platform suggested utilizes the well-known Faddeev-LeVerrier algorithm to generate required relationships between force densities of elements providing explicit analytical conditions of self-stressed states.

Analytical methods for web form usability
2015 10th Asian Control Conference (ASCC), 2015In this study, we introduce analytical methods for web form usability. Since web forms are widely prevalent in society, one of key business challenges has been to create a web form with user satisfaction. Hence, we investigate users' feelings and their behavior using a questionnaire, eye tracking, and an electroencephalogram (EEG) during the completion

Formative Assessment and Meaningful Learning Analytics
2014 IEEE 14th International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies, 2014We introduce an independent open learner model for formative assessment and learning analytics based on developments in technology use in learning, also maintaining more traditional numerical and qualitative feedback options.

On the fuzzy Hahn–Banach Theorem – an analytic form
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1999The authors investigate the relation between fuzzy seminorms and crisp seminorms on a linear space \(X\), and fuzzify the analytic form of the Hahn-Banach theorem.

On the Analytic Determination of the Trace Form
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1985AbstractThe Dedekind zeta function of an algebraic number field E determines the rational equivalence class of the trace form of E. The Hasse symbols of the trace form are related to the local Artin root numbers of the zeta function by formulas of Serre and Deligne.

Normal Forms for Analytic Poisson Structures
The Annals of Mathematics, 1984The paper addresses the question of finding local coordinates in a Poisson manifold in which the expression of the Poisson structure is particularly simple. The splitting theorem gives rise to Darboux coordinates plus a third set of coordinates in which the Poisson tensor vanishes at zero. The paper proves that if the Poisson structure is real analytic

Functoriality of real analytic torsion forms
Israel Journal of Mathematics, 2002The author starts the paper by describing the construction of the analytic torsion forms of Bismut and Lott. He proves that the de Rham complex, provided with a suitabe filtration, calculates the Leray spectral sequence. This is the basis for the main result of the paper, which is the proof of the functoriality of the real analytic torsion form with ...

Analytic approximations to form factors
Acta Crystallographica Section A, 1971Analytical constants are presented which describe the magnetic form factors for the firstgroup transition elements, their ions, and some rare-earth ions. Functions which peak at sin θ/λ = 0 are represented by a function A exp (−ax2) +B exp (−bx2) + C, where x is sin θ/λ. Contributions such as (j2) and (j4) etc., which are zero at x = 0, are represented

The Analytic Theory of Automorphic Forms
Oberwolfach Reports, 2012The workshop brought together leading experts in the theory of automorphic forms. Recently developed analytic, geometric and ergodic methods have enabled several important results in the theory for GL(2) , and also made it possible to investigate ...
