Biomarkers in Human Anaphylaxis: A Critical Appraisal of Current Evidence and Perspectives

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2019
Anaphylaxis is a type I hypersensitivity reaction that is potentially fatal if not promptly treated. It is a clinical diagnosis, although measurement of serial serum total mast cell tryptase (MCT) is gold standard and may help differentiate anaphylaxis ...

Ophthalmic imaging in diabetic retinopathy: A review

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Ophthalmology, Volume 50, Issue 9, Page 1082-1096, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Retinal imaging has been a key tool in the diagnosis, evaluation, management and documentation of diabetic retinopathy (DR) and diabetic macular oedema (DMO) for many decades. Imaging technologies have rapidly evolved over the last few decades, yielding images with higher resolution and contrast with less time, effort and invasiveness.

Supramolecular Chiral Amplification Mediated by Tiny Structural Changes in Natural Binary Carrier‐Free Hydrogels with Promotion Methicillin‐Resistant Staphylococcus aureus‐Infected wound Healing by Inhibiting the Complement System

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
Baicalin, scutellarin, and chelerythrine can self‐assemble into chiral supramolecular hydrogels. The hydroxyl (OH) groups play a crucial role in modulating the π–π interactions and hydrogen bonding within the hydrogel's 3D network, resulting in amplified supramolecular chirality. This enhancement contributes to the increased stability and injectability
