Guided Table Structure Recognition Through Anchor Optimization [PDF]
This paper presents the novel approach towards table structure recognition by leveraging the guided anchors. The concept differs from current state-of-the-art systems for table structure recognition that naively apply object detection methods.

The Glycosylphosphatidylinositol Anchor: A Complex Membrane-Anchoring Structure for Proteins [PDF]
Positioned at the C-terminus of many eukaryotic proteins, the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor is a posttranslational modification that anchors the modified protein in the outer leaflet of the cell membrane. The GPI anchor is a complex structure comprising a phosphoethanolamine linker, glycan core, and phospholipid tail.

Anchoring of a retaining structure with glass fibre strand anchors
Abstract In Copenhagen, Denmark, a large construction pit has been designed to facilitate the excavation for the basement of a new district in the city called “Postgrunden”. The retaining wall is constructed by sheet piles installed into the Copenhagen Limestone with the use of pre-drilling and with ground anchors in two levels.

The structural basis for cohesin–CTCF-anchored loops [PDF]
Cohesin catalyses the folding of the genome into loops that are anchored by CTCF1. The molecular mechanism of how cohesin and CTCF structure the 3D genome has remained unclear. Here we show that a segment within the CTCF N terminus interacts with the SA2-SCC1 subunits of human cohesin. We report a crystal structure of SA2-SCC1 in complex with CTCF at a

H-Shaped Radial Phononic Crystal for High-Quality Factor on Lamb Wave Resonators
In this paper, a novel H-shaped radial phononic crystal (H-RPC) structure is proposed to suppress the anchor loss of a Lamb wave resonator (LWR), which has an ultra-high frequency (UHF) and ultra-wideband gap characteristics. Compared to previous studies

A novel mechanism of PKA anchoring revealed by solution structures of anchoring complexes [PDF]
The specificity of intracellular signaling events is controlled, in part, by compartmentalization of protein kinases and phosphatases. The subcellular localization of these enzymes is often maintained by protein- protein interactions. A prototypic example is the compartmentalization of the cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) through its association ...

Study on Double-Shear Test of Anchor Cable and C-Shaped Tube
The free section of prestressed anchor cable is a weak part of support. A new supporting structure named Anchor Cable and C-Shaped Tube, which can bear transverse shear force, solves the problem that rock bolt and anchor cable are prone to shear failure ...

rigid retaining wall, earth pressure, model indeterminacy, variational limit equilibrium method
The anchor technology in China's standards has some room for improvement compared with the foreign ones. Based on the latest standards of European Union, USA and Japan, some suggestions are put forward: (1) An anchor structure division method is proposed,

Experimental study on internal monitoring structure of a new prestressed anchor cable
On account of their difficult internal stress monitoring, a new type of internal stress monitoring structure for pre-stressed anchor cables is developed and then tested by the destructive tension tests and the repeated tension tests under multi-levelload.

Research on Prediction Model of Prestress Loss of Anchor Cable in Soil-Rock Dual-Structure Slope
The establishment of the prestressed cable loss prediction model is a difficult problem faced by the popularization and use. This article aims at the problem of the loss of anchor cable prestress over time in the soil-rock dual-structure slope. We relied
