Background: Ketofol admixture has been proposed to be useful for sedation and general anesthesia. The beneficial effect of the combination of ketofol with lidocaine may be a shortened time of anesthesia and recovery period.

[Hemodynamic complications during the recovery period after anesthesia].

[Anesthesia recovery period after anesthesia with ketamine and propofol during minor surgery in children].

Forty-eight children aged 4 to 15 years, with an ASA I-II physical status, were examined. The patients underwent short mini-invasive surgical interventions under intravenous anesthesia using ketamine and propofol. The examinees were divided into 2 age groups: 1) 20 children aged 4 to 7 years; 2) 28 aged 8 to 15 years.
