Our findings demonstrate that providing sugar sources reliably supports parasitoid populations and parasitism rate but does not systematically translate into improved pest suppression or yield gains. These results suggest that, for economic and practical reasons, sugar inputs at the edge of cultivated fields should be favoured.

Early sowing of multiple species supports the recovery potential of restored grasslands
Recovery of recently restored grasslands after ploughing depends on vegetation age and restoration type. Early sowing of target forbs and at least 4 years of vegetation development enhance recovery, while moderate disturbance may be needed to reduce grass dominance.
