Immunomodulatory activity of polysaccharide isolated from Angelica sinensis

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2006
The immunomodulatory activities of an Angelica sinensis polysaccharide (AP), purified from the fresh root of A. sinensis Diels, were investigated in vitro in relation to the specificity to immune cells. AP consisted of rhamnose, arabinose, mannose, glucose, galactose with the molar ratio of 1.00:4.54:2.98:11.09:7.45.

Cytotoxic constituents from Angelicae Sinensis radix

Archives of Pharmacal Research, 2007
Cytotoxic bioassay-guided fractionation of methanol extract of Angelicae Sinensis Radix led to the isolation of a new dimeric Z-ligustilide, named neodiligustilide (1), together with three known compounds, Z-ligustilide (2), 11(S),16(R)-dihydroxy-octadeca-9Z, 17-dien-12,14-diyn-1-yl acetate (3), and 3(R),8(S)-falcarindiol (4).

The analysis of Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui)

Journal of Chromatography A, 2009
Radix Angelicae Sinensis, known as Danggui in China, is one of the most popular traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs), which is contained by more than 80 composite formulae. Modern researches indicate that phthalides, organic acids and their esters, polysaccharides are main chemical components related to the bioactivities and pharmacological properties ...

A ligustilide dimer from angelica sinensis

Phytochemistry, 1990
Abstract A novel ligustilide dimer, E-232, was isolated from the roots of Angelica sinensis . Its structure was determined by spectroscopic methods. It inhibited 3 H-nitrendipine binding to the dihydropyridine-sensitive calcium channel with an ic 50 of 4 × 10 −7 M.

Menstrual Regulation Delivered by Angelicae Sinensis Radix

2020 IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM), 2020
Angelicae Sinensis Radix, also called Dang-Gui in Chinese, is an important and widely used natural product in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulae with therapeutic properties of “menstrual regulation”. However, the underlying mechanisms on the molecular-interaction-level are still under exploration.
