Ibrutinib Inhibits Angiogenesis and Tumorigenesis in a BTK-Independent Manner
BTK inhibitor (BTKi) Ibrutinib carries an increased bleeding risk compared to more selective BTKis Acalabrutinib and Zanubrutinib, however, its impact on vascular endothelium remains unknown.

Electrochemical sensing of angiogenin induced endothelial nitric oxide synthase activity [PDF]
This paper was presented at the 2nd Micro and Nano Flows Conference (MNF2009), which was held at Brunel University, West London, UK. The conference was organised by Brunel University and supported by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, IPEM, the ...

Thyroid status modulates T lymphoma growth via cell cycle regulatory proteins and angiogenesis [PDF]
We have shown in vitro that thyroid hormones (THs) regulate the balance between proliferation and apoptosis of T lymphoma cells. The effects of THs on tumor development have been studied, but the results are still controversial.

Controlling escape from angiogenesis inhibitors [PDF]
Selective inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) increases the efficacy of chemotherapy and has beneficial effects on multiple advanced cancers, but response is often limited and the disease eventually progresses. Changes in the tumour microenvironment--hypoxia among them--that result from vascular pruning, suppressed angiogenesis and ...

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Angiogenesis and angiogenesis inhibitors in paediatric diseases
Angiogenesis, the generation of new capillaries from existing blood vessels, is rarely observed in the healthy organism, but can present during various paediatric diseases. In this review, we describe recent progress in the understanding of pathological angiogenesis and approaches for an improved therapy of angiogenic childhood diseases.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.
