Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma

Hematology/Oncology Clinics of North America, 2017
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma is a follicular T-helper-derived neoplasm displaying a peculiar morphologic appearance and biological complexity. New mutations have been described that contribute to elucidating the underlying pathogenetic events. The disease behaves aggressively and typically affects elderly patients.

Angioimmunoblastic T‐cell lymphoma

British Journal of Haematology, 2003
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is one of the most common types of T-cell lymphoma, representing about 15–20% of cases of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). It is characterized by a unique clinical presentation and distinct pathologic and molecular features.

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma

Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology, 2008
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a rare and aggressive neoplasm clinically characterized by sudden onset of constitutional symptoms, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, frequent autoimmune phenomena, particularly hemolytic anemia and thrombocytopenia, and polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia.

Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma Management

Seminars in Hematology, 2014
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a frequent subtype of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) that is clinically characterized by generalized lymphadenopathy, extranodal involvement, advanced stage at presentation, hypergammaglobulinemia, and significant immune dysregulation resulting in infections as the most common cause of death.

Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma

2013
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a peripheral T-cell lymphoma that is associated with systemic manifestations and involves lymph nodes. The neoplasm is morphologically characterized by a polymorphous infiltrate associated with prominent high endothelial venules and follicular dendritic cell proliferation.

Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma

Nihon rinsho. Japanese journal of clinical medicine, 2014
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a subtype of nodal peripheral T-cell lymphoma associated with aggressive clinical course that affects mostly the elderly. Clinical features at diagnosis are characterized by polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia, B-symptoms, and advanced stage.

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma

Advances in Anatomic Pathology, 2002
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AIL-TCL) is a rare subtype of lymphoma, making up only 1% to 2% of nonHodgkin's lymphomas; however, it accounts for a major subset of peripheral T-cell lymphomas. Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma has clinical and pathologic features that set it apart from other B- and T-cell lymphomas.

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma mice model

Leukemia Research, 2013
We established an angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) mouse model using NOD/Shi-scid, IL-2Rγ(null) mice as recipients. The immunohistological findings of the AITL mice were almost identical to those of patients with AITL. In addition, substantial amounts of human immunoglobulin G/A/M were detected in the sera of the AITL mice.
