Low complexity and high accuracy angle of arrival estimation using eigenvalue decomposition with extension to 2D AOA and power estimation [PDF]
In this paper, an angle of arrival (AOA) estimator is presented. Accurate AOA estimation is very crucial for many applications such as wireless positioning and signal enhancement using space processing techniques. The proposed estimator is based upon applying the eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) method on the crosscorrelation matrix of the received ...

How Flexible Are Grammars Past Puberty? The Case of Relative Clauses in Turkish‐American Returnees
Abstract How flexible are grammars after puberty? To answer this, we test returnees: heritage speakers (HS) born in an immigration context who returned to their homeland in later years. If returnees are targetlike, then language is still malleable after puberty; in contrast, if maturational effects are in play, postpuberty returnees will show ...

A Review of Linear Multilateration Techniques and Applications
In multilateration, distances between an unknown location and several known points are used to determine the location of the unknown point. Papers on algorithms for multilateration, such as time of arrival (TOA), time difference of arrival (TDOA), and ...

NON LINEAR OPTIMIZATION APPLIED TO ANGLE-OF-ARRIVAL SATELLITE BASED GEO-LOCALIZATION FOR BIASED AND TIME-DRIFTING SENSORS [PDF]
Multiple sensors are used in a variety of geolocation systems. Many use Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) or Received Signal Strength (RSS) measurements to estimate the most likely location of a signal.

Photonic Frequency Down Conversion Approach to Measure Microwave Signal Angle of Arrival
This paper presents an angle-of-arrival (AOA) measurement system based on microwave photonic frequency down conversion. It has the novelty of no LO is needed for the frequency conversion process. Instead, a ramp waveform is used to shift the frequency of
