Palladium‐catalyzed reduction of nitroaromatic compounds to the corresponding anilines
Applied Organometallic Chemistry, 2010AbstractReduction of a variety of nitroaromatic compounds with triethylsilane in the presence of catalytic amounts of palladium chloride in ethanol resulted in the formation of the corresponding anilines in excellent yields. Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazatriene reacts with aniline to give mono, 2,2-bis-, 2,4-bis-, 2,2,4-tris-, 2,2,4,4-tetrakis-, and hexakis-anilino-derivatives, N3P3Cl6 –n(NHPh)n(n= 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, or 6). The predominantly geminal reaction pattern was established by basicity measurements, and by the preparation of anilinodimethylaminocyclotriphosphazatrienes ...

One step synthesis of azo compounds from nitroaromatics and anilines
Tetrahedron Letters, 2011A general and efficient method for synthesis of both symmetric and asymmetric aromatic azo compounds in one single step has been developed. The nitro compounds were reduced and the substituted anilines were oxidized by each other without any metal in the base condition.

Photopolymerization in the System Oligomer–Aromatic Nitro Compound–Aniline Derivative
High Energy Chemistry, 2004Photopolymerization of acrylic oligomer was studied in the presence of an aromatic nitro compound coupled with dialkylaniline derivatives. Photopolymerization efficiency was shown to significantly increase upon introducing bromine atoms into the structure of an aniline derivative or molecules of the reaction medium.

Preparation of substituted anilines from nitro compounds by using supported gold catalysts
Nature Protocols, 2006A protocol for the chemoselective hydrogenation of nitro compounds to the corresponding anilines by means of supported gold catalysts is described. Nitro groups on different compounds--containing double bonds, carbonyl, nitrile or amide groups--have been successfully hydrogenated on supported gold nanoparticles (Au/TiO2 and Au/Fe2O3), using a batch ...

Silicon–nitrogen compounds. Part VII. N-silyl derivatives of aniline
J. Chem. Soc. A, 1969N-Phenyldisilazane, (SiH3)2NPh, has been prepared from aniline and iodosilane; it is a very weak Lewis base. With less than 1 mol. of hydrogen chloride below –20°, it gives N-phenylsilylamine, SiH3NHPh. In the range 325–380° and at 90° respectively, the new compounds decompose to yield silane and hydrogen.

New Insights on the Compatibility of Nitrocellulose with Aniline‐Based Compounds
Propellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, 2019AbstractIn this paper, the compatibility of nitrocellulose (NC) with some aniline‐based stabilizers was studied in order to detect any interaction between these materials. Both thermal techniques [differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and vacuum stability test (VST)], and supplementary non‐thermal techniques [Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy ...
