Anodic oxidation of cryptands

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry and Interfacial Electrochemistry, 1983
Abstract The anodic oxidation of cryptands has been studied in the presence and in the absence of monovalent cations interacting with these ligands. The anodic reactivity of the uncomplexed cryptands has been shown to be critically dependent on structural parameters.

The anodic oxidation of neodymium

Electrochimica Acta, 1979
The anodic oxidation of neodymium was investigated by the galvanostatic technique in Na2-HPO4 - ethylene glycol solution. According to the combination of measurments of ac capacity and of specular reflectivity, we obtained a refractive index for the oxide films as a function of wavelength and the value of apparent dielectric constant of the films for ...

Hg0.70Cd0.30Te anodic oxidation

Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, 1982
It has been determined that anodic oxidation of (Hg,Cd)Te proceeds via a dissolution– precipitation mechanism. The initial film formation can be understood in terms of electrochemical parameters and, therefore, can be controlled in a rational manner.

The mechanism of anodic oxidation

Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1962
Abstract The ion transport mechanism in the growth of oxide films during anodic oxidation has been studied. Tracer methods have been used to determine the order of the atoms in the film. The position of the labelled atoms was determined by observing the form of excitation curves near sharp resonances of the reactions O18(p, α)N15 and Al27(p, γ)Si28 ...

Anodic Oxidation of Germanium

Journal of Applied Physics, 1961
On anodic polarization of etched samples of n-type or near-intrinsic p-type germanium, striations are formed. The periodic depletion of holes is advanced as a tentative explanation of the phenomenon.

The Anodic Oxides of Lead

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1959
The anodic oxides formed on lead under varying potential and pH were identified by x‐ray and electron diffraction. Pure lead specimens were anodized at selected constant potentials to develop anodic coatings of sufficient thickness to give strong x‐ray patterns.

On the Anodic Oxidation of Columbium

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1960
The anodic oxidation behavior of niobium was studied by determining the volthge-current characteristics of niobinm at 300 volts in a 0.1% H/sub 3/PO/sub 4/ solution from 1 to 80 tained C. The - current rapidly decays to the leakage current level and thereafter remains constant up to a certain time, after which it increases abruptly and goes out of ...
