Anodic Oxidation of Bisamides

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2023
Previously [1] we studied the anodic oxidation of symmetrical bisamides of type RCONH(CH2)nNHCOR (n = 2-4) under constant current electrolysis (CCE), in methanol. Those with 3 and 4 methylene groups as spacers undergo mostly mono- and dimethoxylation at the alpha-position to 'N' atom.

Anodic oxidation of benzoquinone using diamond anode

Environmental Science and Pollution Research, 2014
The anodic degradation of 1,4-benzoquinone (BQ), one of the most toxic xenobiotic, was investigated by electrochemical oxidation at boron-doped diamond anode. The electrolyses have been performed in a single-compartment flow cell in galvanostatic conditions. The influence of applied current (0.5-2 A), BQ concentration (1-2 g dm(-3)), temperature (20-45

Treatment of winery wastewater by anodic oxidation using BDD electrode.

Chemosphere, 2018
The effective removal of organics from winery wastewater was obtained in real residual effluents from the wine industry using anodic oxidation (AO). The effluent had an initial organic load of [COD]0 of 3490 mg L-1 equal to [TOC]0 of 1320 mg L-1.

Anodic oxidation of triphenylphosphinephenylimine

Electrochimica Acta, 1977
Abstract Anodic oxidation of triphenylphosphinephenylimine in acetonitrile has been examined by voltammetry, controlled potential coulometry, and electron spin resonance spectroscopy. Product analyses showed that triphenylphosphine oxide and mixtures of polymeric oxidized salts of aniline are major products along with unreacted starting material.

The anodic oxidation of uranium

Acta Metallurgica, 1954
Abstract Over a range of 2–100 volts the anodic oxidation of uranium in ammoniacal ethylene glycol produces oxide films which are predominantly uranium dioxide in composition. The oxide formed in this manner shows considerable stability to atmospheric corrosion.

Surface Modification and Microstructuring of 4H-SiC(0001) by Anodic Oxidation with Sodium Chloride Aqueous Solution.

ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2018
Anodic oxidation is a promising surface modification technique for the manufacture of SiC wafers owing to its high oxidation rate. It is also possible to fabricate porous SiC by anodic oxidation and etching owing to the material properties of SiC.

Anodic oxidation of InAlAs

Corrosion Science, 2006
The anodic oxidation of InAlAs is investigated by transmission electron microscopy, Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy and medium energy ion scattering in order to elucidate the mechanism of oxide growth. For this purpose, anodizing was carried out at 5 mA cm−2 in 0.1 M sodium tungstate and 0.1 M ammonium pentaborate electrolytes at 293 K, which ...
