Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

Structure of Anomalies of 4d SCFTs from M5-branes, and Anomaly Inflow
We study the 't Hooft anomalies of four-dimensional superconformal field theories that arise from M5-branes wrapped on a punctured Riemann surface. In general there are two independent contributions to the anomalies.

An Anomaly within an Anomaly: The Halloween Effect in the Long-term Reversal Anomaly
In this paper, we investigate the presence of the Halloween effect in the long-term reversal anomaly in the US. When we examine the cross-sectional returns of winner-minus-loser portfolios formed on prior returns over the time period of 1931-2021, we find evidence of stronger returns during winter months versus summer months.

Objective This study aimed to describe real‐world trends in preconception and prenatal use of antirheumatic drugs among pregnant individuals with rheumatic diseases in Ontario, Canada. Methods We conducted a time‐series analysis using repeated cross‐sectional data to examine annual patterns of disease‐modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) use among ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Softness dependence of the Anomalies for the Continuous Shouldered Well potential
By molecular dynamic simulations we study a system of particles interacting through a continuous isotropic pairwise core-softened potential consisting of a repulsive shoulder and an attractive well.

A Compact Spin‐Coated Graphene UWB Antenna for Breast Tumor Detection
A compact, spin‐coated graphene ultra‐wideband patch antenna designed for breast tumor detection, capable of distinguishing between malignant and benign tumors. This innovative antenna can serve as an effective initial screening tool, particularly in resource‐limited settings such as rural areas, where access to advanced medical equipment like MRI and ...

Structural Order for One-Scale and Two-Scale Potentials
We perform molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the relationship between structural order and water-like dynamic and thermodynamic anomalies in spherically-symmetric potentials having either one or two characteristic length scales.
