Transverse spin asymmetries at the EIC as a probe of anomalous electric and magnetic dipole moments

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2023
We show that inclusive single-spin asymmetries (SSAs) with transversely polarized protons or electrons at a future electron ion collider (EIC) are sensitive to new physics contributions to electroweak dipole operators of electrons and quarks.

The Measurement of the Muon's Anomalous Magnetic Moment Isn't [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Recent results announced as measurements of the muon's anomalous magnetic moment are in fact measurements of the muon's anomalous spin precession frequency.

Anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1999
This paper reviews the theoretical predictions for and the experimental measurements of the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau lepton. In particular, recent analyses of the $\eettg$ process from the L3 and OPAL collaborations are described.

Revisiting the scalar leptoquark $$(S_1)$$ ( S 1 ) model with the updated leptonic constraints

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
The Standard Model, if extended to the energy scale of $${\mathscr {O}}(1)$$ O ( 1 )  TeV, the known particle spectrum could be augmented with a scalar leptoquark.

Explaining Atomki anomaly and muon g − 2 in U(1) X extended flavour violating two Higgs doublet model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We investigate a two Higgs doublet model with extra flavour depending U(1) X gauge symmetry where Z′ boson interactions can explain the Atomki anomaly by choosing appropriate charge assignment for the SM fermions.

Studies on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau-neutrino in pp collisions at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal A, 2019
In this paper the production cross section $pp\rightarrow ( , Z) \to _ \bar _ +X$ in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8, 13, 14, 33TeV$ is presented. Furthermore, we estimate bounds at the $95\%C. L.$ on the dipole moments of the tau-neutrino using integrated luminosity of ${\cal L}=20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 3000 fb^{-1}$ collected with the ...

Bounds on radii and anomalous magnetic dipole moments of quarks and leptons from LEP, SLC and HERA [PDF]

open access: yesZeitschrift für Physik C Particles and Fields, 1995
Leptons, quarks and gauge bosons are assumed to be pointlike particles in the Standard Model. Stringent bounds on the radii of quarks and leptons and their weak anomalous magnetic moments can be derived from the high-precision measurements at LEP and SLC. We find a model-independent bound ofR≲10−17 cm for quark and lepton radii.

Singlet scalar and 2HDM extensions of the Standard Model: CP-violation and constraints from (g − 2) μ and eEDM

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We study popular scalar extensions of the Standard Model, namely the singlet extension, the 2-Higgs doublet model (2HDM) and its extension by a singlet scalar.

Radiative Tau Lepton Pair Production as a Probe of Anomalous Electromagnetic Couplings of the Tau [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We calculate the squared matrix element for the process e+ e- --> tau+ tau- gamma allowing for anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments at the tau tau gamma vertex.
