Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.

Improved Ant Colony Algorithm for Network Flow Scheduling in SDN Data Center
At present, in the software defined data center network, the flow scheduling strategy based on ant colony algorithm has the disadvantages of too slow convergence and search stagnation in path selection, which easily leads to the problems of excessively ...

Local Field Potential‐Based Programming: A Proof‐of‐Concept Pilot Study
Abstract Objectives Programming deep brain stimulation (DBS) is still based on a trial‐and‐error approach, often becoming a time‐consuming process for both treating physicians and patients. Several strategies have been proposed to streamline DBS programming, most of which are preliminary and mainly address Parkinson's disease, a condition readily ...

An Improvement of a Mapping Method Based on Ant Colony Algorithm Applied to Smart Cities
The ant colony algorithm has been widely used in the field of data analysis of smart cities. However, the research of the traditional ant colony algorithm is more focused on one-to-one scenarios and there is insufficient research on many-to-one scenarios.

Distributed House-Hunting in Ant Colonies
We introduce the study of the ant colony house-hunting problem from a distributed computing perspective. When an ant colony's nest becomes unsuitable due to size constraints or damage, the colony must relocate to a new nest.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.
