Controlling Radiation Pattern of Spherical Antenna

Presented in this paper are the results of theoretical and experimental research of irradiation shift influence on radiation pattern. Scanning limits of antenna beam are determined. Some recommendations for scanning spherical antennas design are given.

Recording of dynamic antenna radiation patterns

A concept is presented for recording antenna radiation patterns as functions of two parameters simultaneously. An implementation of the technique results in a significant savings in the measurement time required to document antenna performance as a function of the particular pair of parameters of interest.
