Novel Nematic all-trans-Perhydroanthracenes, -naphthacenes, and -benz[a]anthracenes
Hydroxy derivatives of the title compounds were prepared, two of them via regioselective formation of enamines. Some nematic acyl derivatives of the alcohols are described and their phase transition data recorded.
