CT Automated Exposure Control Using A Generalized Detectability Index [PDF]
Purpose Identifying an appropriate tube current setting can be challenging when using iterative reconstruction due to the varying relationship between spatial resolution, contrast, noise, and dose across different algorithms.

In this research, a paradigm of parameter estimation method for pneumatic soft hand control is proposed. The method includes the following: 1) sampling harmonic damping waves, 2) applying pseudo‐rigid body modeling and the logarithmic decrement method, and 3) deriving position and force control.

Impact of visual context on public perceptions of non-human primate performers.
Prior research has shown that the use of apes, specifically chimpanzees, as performers in the media negatively impacts public attitudes of their conservation status and desirability as a pet, yet it is unclear whether these findings generalize to other ...

Anthropomorphic dual-lattice voxel models for optimizing image quality and dose [PDF]
Using numerical simulations, the influence of various imaging parameters on the resulting image can be determined for various imaging technologies. To achieve this, visualization of fine tissue structures needed to evaluate the image quality with different radiation quality and dose is essential.

Consumer Acceptance of Conversational Bots: Systematic Literature Review and Meta‐Analysis
ABSTRACT As consumers increasingly rely on conversational bots for daily tasks, evidence surrounding motivations for acceptance remains scattered. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted on 64 journal articles published between 2008 and 2024, of which 48 provided sufficient quantitative data for inclusion in a meta‐analysis.

Were-Jaguars and Crocodilians: A Need to Redefine [PDF]
The general consensus amongst scholars is that anthropomorphic and zoomorphic Formative art, usually associated with the Olmecs but extending to post-Columbian civilisations, are depictions of humans and/or jaguars known as were-jaguars (De La Fuente ...

Anthropomorphic symbolic images in the Ukrainian folk dancing culture
The purpose of the article is to define the semantics of the actional forms and compositional structures of circle dances and dancing pantomimes featuring the anthropomorphic images which are characteristic of the traditional annual calendar, rites of passage, and family routine ceremonialism laying the original background of the Ukrainian artwork. The

ABSTRACT Despite increasing interest in leveraging AI to improve CSR communication, there is limited understanding of consumers' reactions to chatbots in CSR communication. Building upon the HAII‐TIME model, this study proposes a theoretical model from the users' psychological perspective to explain facilitative pathways through which anthropomorphic ...

Patient Dose Optimisation of Abdominopelvic Protocols During X‐Ray Imaging
This study evaluates organ doses in abdominopelvic radiography for both erect and supine positions, addressing dose optimisation concerns in Ghana. Using CalDose X and thermoluminescence dosimeters, organ doses and image quality were analysed, revealing significant dose reductions with optimised exposure parameters (70 kVp, 10 mAs, 110 cm FDD).
